Working together

How to hire me

I'm a senior frontend engineer based in Tbilisi, Georgia, working remotely. A company anywhere can engage me one of three ways: a B2B contract with my registered Georgian entity, full-time employment through an employer of record, or a fixed-scope project. The contract route needs no EOR — the entity and business bank account are already in place.

Engagement models

B2B contract

Company to company, no intermediary

You contract with
My registered Georgian company
Paperwork
A direct service agreement between your company and mine
Payment
Invoiced from the entity to its business bank account

Best for Contract and consulting work, or any engagement you want to start without standing up employment first.

Full-time via EOR

Your employer of record employs me locally

You contract with
Whichever employer-of-record provider you already use
Paperwork
Your provider's standard employment contract
Payment
The provider runs payroll; you pay the provider

Best for Teams that want a full-time employee on their own benefits and payroll process. I don't require a particular provider.

Fixed-scope project

A defined deliverable with an end date

You contract with
My registered Georgian company
Paperwork
A scoped statement of work
Payment
Invoiced against agreed milestones

Best for A specific piece of work — a component library, a test suite, a performance pass — rather than an ongoing seat on the team.

Work authorization & legal setup

  • A Georgian residency permit granting the right to work as a contractor for non-Georgian companies.
  • A registered Georgian legal entity and business bank account, both already in place — so a B2B contract can be signed and invoiced without any employer-of-record arrangement.
  • No US or EU work authorization. Roles that require it aren't a fit; remote engagements with companies in those regions are.

Timezone & working hours

  • Based in Tbilisi, Georgia (GMT+4). Full overlap with CET business hours, partial overlap with US Eastern mornings.
  • Available now for full-time remote work at 40 hrs/week, EU-timezone hours by default. Live status is published as JSON at /hireable.
  • English C1 (full professional), Russian native.

When I'm not the right hire

Roles requiring on-site presence outside Tbilisi without relocation support, and roles requiring US or EU work authorization I don't hold. If either applies, it's better we both know before the first call.

Questions I get asked

Can a company outside Georgia hire you directly?
Yes. I hold a Georgian residency permit granting the right to work as a contractor for non-Georgian companies, and I have a registered Georgian legal entity and business bank account already in place. Your company signs a service agreement with mine and pays against invoices.
Do you need an employer of record?
Not for contract work — the registered entity means B2B contracts and invoicing need no employer-of-record setup. For full-time employment an EOR does work, and I'm happy to go through whichever provider you already use.
What engagement models do you accept?
Full-time employment including via an employer of record, B2B contract through my registered entity, or a fixed-scope project.
Where are you based and what hours do you work?
Tbilisi, Georgia, at GMT+4. That is full overlap with CET business hours and partial overlap with US Eastern mornings. I work EU-timezone hours by default.
Do you hold US or EU work authorization?
No. Roles that require US or EU work authorization are not a fit. Remote engagements with companies in those regions are, through either of the routes above.
Are you available right now?
Yes — available for a full-time remote role at 40 hours per week, and open to contract and consulting work. The live status is published as JSON at https://asmyshlyaev177.dev/hireable.
What languages do you speak?
English at C1 (full professional working proficiency) and Russian as a native speaker.
What roles are you not a fit for?
Roles requiring on-site presence outside Tbilisi without relocation support, and roles requiring US or EU work authorization.
How do I get in touch?
Email asmyshlyaev177@gmail.com, or Telegram @asmyshlyaev177 for a faster reply. There is also a Calendly on the contact section of the homepage if you would rather just book a call.

Know which route fits?

Tell me about the role or the project — I usually reply within a day. Or read what I actually do and the work behind it first.
